DiemHang’s baking journey

After earning her degree in computer science, she refined her culinary skills by participating in the Pastry and Art Design NSCC and International Sugar Art programs, guided by the esteemed Stephane Klein in France. With extensive experience as a pastry chef, particularly within a prominent dining service chain, she has developed a niche for crafting intricate desserts and stunning cake designs.

 

In 2019, DiemHang launched her own home bakery in the Ottawa area, where she feels fortunate to turn her clients' visions into reality. Her steadfast dedication to sourcing only the finest ingredients enables her to create desserts that are not only delicious but also visually striking for every event. DiemHang has a deep passion for exploring new recipes and culinary trends, and she loves sharing her knowledge with others—particularly in cookie decorating, royal icing, cake design, and sugar flowers—hoping to foster a shared excitement for baking.

 

With over 18 years of experience as both a cake artist and bakery owner, she understands the rewards and challenges of running a culinary business. She has successfully navigated the intricacies of kitchen management, client relations, and brand building, mirroring the journey that many chefs and bakers encounter today.

 

Recently, she expanded her expertise by becoming a certified business coach. Her mission is to empower chefs, bakers, and culinary entrepreneurs to not only excel in their artistry but also to build thriving and sustainable businesses.
