Pesto sauce

Basil and garlic pesto sauce. I make this pesto sauce all the time. This pesto is very versatile; I use it on pizza, focaccia, sandwiches, pasta. It stays green and lasts long in the fridge. This recipe has no nut or cheese ingredients to add if you have a tree nut allergy or can’t eat dairy. I personally add parmesan cheese and ground nut. For instance, I spread the pesto on pizza and sprinkle parmesan cheese over top, and on pesto pasta I sprinkle extra ground nuts with freshly grated cheese.
