Soft Salt Caramel Sauce

Drizzle this soft caramel sauce on your hot or cold dessert is phenomenal.
I use this soft caramel sauce for my Chocolate Macaron and No Bake Apple Crumble

Yield:

  • 10-15 servings

Supplies:

  • Air tight container or mason jar.

  • Saucepan

  • Spatula

  • Whisk

  • Scale

Ingredients: 

  • 300g 35% cream (heavy cream)

  • 200g light corn syrup

  • 50g brown sugar

  • 100g fine caster sugar

  • ½ tsp salt

 

The steps:

  1. Combine brown sugar cream and syrup in a saucepan over high heat bring to boil, set aside

  2. In a separate saucepan over medium low heat making dry caramel. Add caster sugar and stir until melted into an amber color

  3. Slowly pour the hot liquid cream into the caramel while stirring.

Pour into mason jar and let cool in the fridge to thicken
